Dr. Diana Davis, PsyD.

Dr. Diana Davis is a clinical psychologist who provides therapy to adolescents and adults, and provides assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults.  She completed her Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degrees at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL.  She completed her internship at the University of Kentucky Counseling Center in Lexington, KY.  She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Tuttleman Counseling Services at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.  During her time there, she provided individual therapy, group therapy, and assessment to the university’s students.

Dr. Davis works at Dulles Psychological Services providing therapy and assessment services.  Her therapeutic interests include mood disorders, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma, and severe or persistent mental illness.  She believes strongly in the use of evidence-based methods, and she operates from a Cognitive-Behavioral orientation.  She also regularly incorporates mindfulness into her work in therapy, and she has been trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.  Dr. Davis’s assessment interests are broad, including personality assessment and ADHD/LD assessments.  She believes in using multiple assessments and integrating the results to capture the whole picture for each individual.
